Sales Manager Emerging Markets (full-time)

Purpose of the Role
As Sales Manager – Emerging Markets your key responsibility is growing and managing sales within the emerging markets territory. This means establishing, building and maintaining relationships with dedicated agents, distributors and clients, driving the expansion of our brands across the respective territory. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, promoting our products, managing the sales teams of our partners, and ensuring that revenue targets are met across international markets. The respective emerging market territory spans across the entire globe from Mexico to Australia and involves pan global travelling on the regular.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement international sales strategies to meet or exceed company revenue goals.
_ Identify new business opportunities and drive market expansion across different regions.
_ Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, distributors and key international clients.
_ Manage, support, and motivate their sales teams to achieve sales targets and grow market share.
_ Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to optimize sales efforts.
_ Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor offerings for specific markets and customer needs.
_ Develop and continuously improve our B2B portal, as well as train internal staff and partners.
_ Close collaboration with Customer Service, Contract, and Purchasing.
_ Ensure compliance with local regulations, import/export laws, and cultural business practices in all operating markets.
_ Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
_ Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications for the Position
_
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing - or any other similar academic degree.
_ A strong passion for design, interior, textiles and travel.
_ Flexible working hours to support various markets in different time zones.
_ Fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus.
_ Willingness to travel frequently and work across different time zones (approx. 2x/month).
_ Proven track record of international sales experience, with a strong understanding of global markets is a plus.
_ Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
_ Ability to work cross-functionally and manage remote teams.

In Particular
_
Overseeing all emerging markets such as Oceania, Canada, South Korea and parts of Europe and south America.
_ Presentations with Agents/ Distributors and direct clients.
_ Conducting training sessions for sales staff.
_ Analysing sales data – monthly turnover/ bestseller in comparison with similar and global markets.
_ Developing and implementing sales strategies within each market.
_ B2B – developing and training internally.
_ Interaction with customer service: approving discounts and setting budgets for sampling.
_ Supplying partners with samples.
_ Close collaboration with Customer Service, Contract, and Purchasing.
_ Expand into new markets.
_ Willingness to travel frequently (approx. 2x/month).
_ Flexible working hours to support various markets in different time zones.
_ Key account management for a well-known high-end chain in Spain.
