BARTON tells the story of a classic braid design that has been reimagined in an elegant and sophisticated manner. Embroidered on a cotton base fabric with a fine and subtle ottoman weave, the depth and dimension of three interlacing strands is optically achieved by using one single embroidery colour that changes direction, creating the illusion of movement. A slightly denser embroidery stitch is used, resulting in a handcrafted look. BARTON is named for Alix Barton, the founder of the Madame Grès fashion house.
