Our new print, WAVE HILL, evokes the feeling of vintage charm. The design itself was inspired by vines and trails from the Ottoman era, modernized with the use of large bold flowers and then softened using a traditional warp print technique. The design is first screen printed by eight trained artisans on to a net fabric, which is loose and open. The prepared warp beam is then carefully attached to a hand loom where a skilled artisan weaver hand ties the ends. Subtle variations are a part of the inherent beauty of this charming rustic print.
